Burgers, Brats, and Bon Fires – October 2, 2010
This is a relatively short, but fun ride on some nice back roads through some pretty country. Our route will take us through Palatine, Barrington, Cary, Crystal Lake, McHenry, Woodstock, and Wonder Lake to our final destination, Galt Airport.
We’ll gather at the Shell station on the northwest corner of Route 12 and Lake Cook Road in Palatine around 3:00pm. It’s a short, 1hour 15 minute ride but, you will want to fill up before. Our pre-ride meeting will be at 3:20pm and we will leave promptly at 3:30pm. If it’s raining, we won’t go and I’ll try my best to reschedule. Please R.S.V.P by Wed, September 29th, to jat5070@sbcglobal.net so we can get a headcount for the burger, brats, and drinks.
Dinner will be potluck. I’ll provide the burgers, brats, drinks, and condiments. I would like each rider to bring a dish to pass. This can be anything from appetizers and side dishes to desserts. For those who prefer not to ride after sunset, please come by car and join us at Galt at 5:30 pm. I will provide driving directions and parking instructions for Galt later.
If you are planning to come by car, bringing some extra folding chairs would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks y’all,
Jeff TietzAspiring Road Captain(Under the direction of Mike Bradbury)
