This class is being offered on Sunday March 28, 2020 at Woodstock Harley-Davidson office located at 2235 S Eastwood Dr Woodstock, IL 60098 starting time 9 am for a half day. At the completion of the course you will receive certification for attending and a rocker tab.
Saturday March 28th at Woodstock starting at 9 am.
Group Riding And Safety Seminar consists of the following topics:
1) Hand Signals and Riding Protocol. 7 hand signals are defined. Riding spacing and rules are defined.
2) Day of the ride. What a Road Captain expects from riders when they arrive at the ride. What riders can expect from a Road Captain when they arrive at the ride.
3) Co-riders. Suggestions and protocol for two up riding. 3 categories are covered. Motorcycle set up for passengers. Communication techniques for passenger while riding. Responsibilities before during and after the ride.
4) Accident scene management techniques and responsibilities. 3 topics are cover. How to manage the site using 1st aid. How to control traffic around the scene. Crowd management at the site.
5) Optional for members who might want to be a Road Captain, requirement to be certified as a Road Captain. Suggestion for how to plan a ride and execute a ride.
