Lake-Cook Rd and Rt 14
As you undoubtedly know, our annual NISRA Fishing Derby Ride has been on our calendar for Saturday June 1, 2013. Ric Case and Tom Malia have been planning a ride that would have deposited us in Wauconda to help NISRA put on this event. However, NISRA has decided to cancel the fishing derby. Nonetheless, Ric and Tom are still up for putting on this ride-using the highly creative name of:
Now that we have more latitude time wise, they are adding a few embellishments to the route…some of which are still under development. However, the important details are as follows:
Route: West and North…desperately trying to avoid construction zones..approximately 85 miles…gas/rest stop for those that must.
Lunch: We will arrive in Wauconda around 12:15. For those that have an interest, we are planning lunch at Lindy’s Landing, overlooking Bangs Lake.
We will take a lunch headcount that morning, so we can put Lindy’s on notice as to how many Top Cats to expect.
