Air transportation should be made to Sky Harbor International Airport for arrival prior to noon on Saturday, March 29, 2014 with a return trip on Sunday April 6, 2014. It is recommended that reservations be made soon to secure the best airfares.

For those who want to ride, a trooper group will be leaving early on Wednesday, March 19th taking the southern route through north Texas to arrive by Day 00 and returning via Texas after the conclusion of the ride.

THE RIDE:
Day 00 (Sat 3/29): Arrive Phoenix in the AM and pick up bikes. Bard Boand will provide the preride/ rider refresher for the afternoon to explore the Phoenix area.
Day 1 (Sun 3/30): Phoenix AZ to Beaumont CA – 306 Miles, All Interstate 10 with a lunch stop at the General Patton Memorial Museum.
Day 2 (Mon 3/31): Beaumont CA to Palmdale CA – 204 Miles, all mountain roads thru the San Bernardino and Angeles National Forests.
Day 3 (Tues 4/1): Palmdale CA to Santa Barbara CA – A start at the Blackbird Aeronautical Museum, an annex of the Air Force Flight Test Center at Edwards Air Force Base to explore the unique Blackbird series of military aircraft then 164 Miles of more mountain roads thru the Los Padres National Forest.
Day 4 (Weds 4/2): Day Trip up the coast on California RT 1 or for those who want to just lounge around, a mid-ride break.
Day 5 (Thurs 4/3): Santa Barbara CA to Mojave CA – 231 Miles thru valleys, along rivers and the southern end of the San Joaquin Valley.
Day 6 (Fri 4/4): Mojave CA to Needles CA – 229 Miles thru the Mojave Desert and along Old RT 66.
Day 7 (Sat 4/5): Needles CA to Phoenix AZ – 255 Miles along Old RT 66 thru Oatman AZ to Kingman, AZ and then back to Phoenix
